Ingredients
1 pound lean ground turkey
4 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 T Rice Vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, adjust to taste
2 sliced green onions for sprinkling on top
1 T neutral oil
Method
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 1 minute until shimmering.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook for 6-7 minutes until browned.
- Reduce heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute while stirring constantly.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet, stirring to coat the turkey. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in most of the green onions, reserving some for garnish. Remove from heat.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce cups, garnished with remaining green onions.
